Bonjour
I’m Margaux, a south-London based yoga instructor originally from France.
My journey has been a blend of adventures overseas and self-discovery through movement. It all started in my early twenties when I volunteered for a student NGO with the motto, "mobility is a lifestyle," which became my guiding light. During the last decade, I’ve designed international programmes to help young people step out of their comfort zones and embrace life-changing experiences overseas. Living and working abroad myself has opened my eyes to new cultures, ideas, and possibilities.
Yoga found me in 2018 when, despite having my dream life in Rome, I began craving calm and balance. While my first downward-facing dog wasn’t a revelation, I kept returning to the mat, week after week.
Yoga wasn’t about the perfect pose, it gave me the inner calm and body awareness I’d been quietly seeking. It guided me through the shift from a fast-paced life to remote work during the pandemic and the self-doubt that crept in. Yoga became my sanctuary, teaching me patience and helping me find harmony.
In 2023, I decided to complete my yoga teacher training to share this transformative practice with others. Just as I helped students grow through international opportunities, I now want to share yoga’s magic with my community.
And now, the motto from my twenties? It has taken a whole new meaning. Beyond encouraging outward mobility, I invite others to explore within, discovering the movements, routines, and practices that empower them.
My classes reflect my journey. They are not focusing on perfecting poses, but emphasizing how they feel. I encourage students to explore their own potential, to move with intention, and to honour their bodies.
